LOCATION
Be right in the heart of it all but tucked away enough to enjoy a relaxing stay. Leave the car as there is so much to explore from the doorstep here with coastal walks to Mousehole one way and Marazion to the other. Penzance has so many hidden treasures and many foodie delights to discover.
The best local attractions, shops, galleries, bars, pubs and restaurants are all within walking distance. You can be in the oldest pub in Penzance, The Turks Head, dating from 1233, in a matter of minutes. Have a drink or a meal here and you’ll be stepping back in history, enjoying the same public house as pirates and smugglers did 750 years ago. Or walk along the seafront to the famous Jubilee Pool, the UK’s largest art deco seawater lido.
Penzance is the gateway to the Land’s End peninsula and in the far west of Cornwall nothing is far away. The fishing harbour of Newlyn is a 20-minute walk along the seafront promenade, and the quaint village of Mousehole is only a 10 minutes’ drive away. Marazion, with the famous St. Michael’s Mount, is easy to walk or drive to. St. Ives is easily reached using the scenic rail line from Penzance station. Sennen Cove, The Minack Theatre in Porthcurno, and The Cornish Mining World Heritage Site on the north coast, are all an easy drive away.

“We all loved this house. Great location with a parking space, which if you know Penzance is worth its weight in gold alone. Very clean and stylish with everything you could need. Highly recommend”
Vince – October 2024
“Excellent place to stay. Quiet location, but still with good access to the local facilities in Penzance ... and just across the road is Morrab Gardens, a lovely sub-tropical garden to walk through. Support by The Cornish Way was very good; quick response and promptly sorted out a couple of minor issues Would we go again? ... very much YES”
Steve – September 2024
“The house is perfectly located for walks along the promenade to Penzance or Newlyn, or if you’re brave daily dips in the sea. Short walk to many restaurants and bars or short drive to all the coastal points of interest. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.”
Geraint – August 2024
“We have just had a beautiful week’s holiday, the house was absolutely beautiful, very well equipped, extremely clean. There were fresh cut flowers and dog treats when we arrived as well as milk and biscuits, lovely little touch. Would highly recommend.”
Jackie – July 2024
“Our second stay here and it was as good as the first. We have family in Penzance and it’s a great base for exploring the area. My favourite things about the property are the tasteful and high-quality decor, the soft fluffy towels and I love the primary suite. We’ll definitely be back, hopefully when the weather is good enough to enjoy the balcony and outdoor space.”
