TIDE VIEW, MARAZION
This gorgeous one bedroom property has spectacular sea and countryside views from its stunning open plan reception room.
Tide View offers a calming feeling of light and space as soon as you enter. It's a spacious first floor apartment and a place to relax in comfort and luxury, ticking so many of the “must haves” to enjoy your perfect Cornish break. Moments from the golden sands of Marazion’s beach and the iconic St Michael’s Mount you can sit with your morning coffee taking in the dreamy views. As the name suggests, you can look out to sea and check the tides from each room so all you need to do is decide whether it's a beach walk, swim or a stroll or boat ride over to the Mount.
With the privacy of its own front door Tide View has been completely refurbished and offers a stylish base, perfect for couples. Peacefully tucked away in the heart of Marazion this sought after seaside town is on your doorstep with all it has to offer whether it’s the beach, St Michaels Mount, the nature reserve, eateries, galleries, gift shops, famous Cornish Philps Pasty shop to name but a few of its delights, all within a couple of minutes’ walk. If venturing further afield it's a short drive to so many popular destinations like St Ives, Penzance, Porthleven and Mousehole to name a few. For fans of water sports you are spoilt for choice and Mounts Bay is simply the perfect spot for it. Bring your Kayak or SUP and you can wheel it down to the beach for days pottering on the water. There are also a couple of local Kitesurfing schools and a sailing club all operating walking distance from Tide View.
The wonderful open plan living area is great for evenings in and the balcony is the perfect spot for alfresco dining while looking out to sea. The large bedroom has a super-king sized bed (it's zip & link and can be separated into two singles on request) and the modern shower room really gives a sense of luxury. In arguably the best position in this tucked away, residential location there are private steps up to your own front door and there is residents parking outside where available. Tide View is the perfect spot come summer or winter and the owners have put so much into making this a special place to stay - you will find it hard not to enjoy your Cornish escape.
LOCATION
Marazion is well known for the spectacular St Michael’s Mount where you can walk along the causeway at low tide or catch a boat from Marazion. St Michael's is a real-life fairy-tale castle, still lived in by the St Aubyn family and managed by the National Trust.
There’s plenty of things to do in Marazion, take a stroll through the town and stop off for a relaxing drink or snack at one of the cafes or pubs. Browse the art galleries that are packed with local work or choose a gift to take home from one of the stunning gift shops.
Travelling East it is under ten minutes to Perranuthnoe, a pretty cove with the award-winning Victoria Inn and a choice of a couple of great cafes. Slightly further up the coast is Praa Sands with its gorgeous mile long golden sandy beach and laid back beach bar and fantastic surf.
It’s a perfect spot for touring the wider West Cornwall too. The very popular St Ives, Penzance, Mousehole and Sennen all in easy reach. Slightly further, and well worth a visit, Lands End, Cape Cornwall and The Lizard are all within a 30ish minute drive. We also recommend the historic harbour of Porthleven a few miles to the East which is fast becoming a go to foodie and gallery destination.

WHAT GUESTS ARE SAYING...
“Nicely located just off the beach in Marazion, with a good view of Mt. St. Michael. Extremely clean, well-thought out and comfortable apt. Very easy to be at home and use as a base. Worth mentioning and an excellent bonus were the quite excellent recommendations for restaurants in the area - each was excellent and really contributed to how much we enjoyed our stay.”

“We had a great stay here, the views were gorgeous, nice sandy beach. The Godolphin Hotel was a lovely place to eat and have drink with great views of the Mount. The space itself was amazing, super clean and tidy all the amenities that you could need. Great shower and bed is huge. We hugely enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend!

“The apartment was very clean with tasteful furnishings and decor. There was everything we needed and it was so light and airy. The apartment was across the road from the lovely beach and a short walk into the village for pubs and shops. Buses were hourly in either direction. We would come back again and recommend to friends. Thank you”

“We were delighted with this flat. It was super clean and lovingly furnished with lots of details. Everything modern, great bathroom, super equipped accommodation with everything you need. A very large comfortable bed with several pillows to choose from. We were provided with tea, coffee, sugar, biscuits, milk, toilet paper, washing-up liquid, dishwasher tabs etc. We were guided through the instructions with lovingly written information boards, which were very helpful. Especially the heating in all rooms was very valuable in the cold days. The view from the breakfast table to St Michaels Mount and from the balcony to the bay was very impressive. We felt at home and will be very happy to come back. We can recommend this flat and the agency that manages it 100%. We received a lot of helpful information from the agency in advance. Thank you!”
